I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years. Prior to first becoming a fitness instructor I was a tap and jazz dancer. I was introduced to Strength Training as part of my recovery from an injury during a dance performance and I immediately fell in love with weight training. Once I experienced and learned of all the important benefits of a weight lifting program I knew I had to teach others about it.

I have been a certified aerobic instructor since 1989 and was among the first group of instructors to become certified for teaching step aerobics in 1992. I earned my personal trainer certification in 1994. In 1998 I became certified to teach yoga and learned of the benefits of relaxation and stress management. This prompted me to attend school for massage therapy and I was awarded my certification for Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage in 1999. I am licensed in the State of Pennsylvania.  In January 2010 I earned my License to teach zumba fitness.

In 1997, at the age of 40, I decided to take on the challenge of competitive natural body building. For the next 6 years, I successfully competed in many natural body building shows, earning several first place trophies. During this time I developed my own nutritional program and guidelines based on research and proven scientific principals.

After working in gyms in New Hampshire, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I started my own personal training business in 1998 and currently own a fully equipped personal fitness training gym and therapeutic massage facility conveniently located off route 715 in the Beautiful Pocono Mountains.
